The Kerry Way
Between September 2018 and September 2019, the club walked every section of the Kerry Way, one section each month.

At over 200km, the Kerry Way is one of Ireland's longest and most popular waymarked trails.
The trail loops anti-clockwise around the Iveragh Peninsula, through some of the most remote and dramatic countryside in Ireland. It avoids the higher peaks and keeps to the lower slopes. Club members hate walking on paved roads, so we skipped those stretches where we could. Transport was arranged where needed, with the cost shared among the walkers.
We're grateful to the landowners along the Kerry Way. It wouldn't have been possible without their permission to walk through their land. Thank you all.
